Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information Mawl Gummies LLC ("MAWL," "we," "us") collects when you use mawlgummies.com (the "Site"), how we use it, and the choices you have. We are based in Redmond, Washington, USA. We keep it short and plain on purpose.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you join the waitlist we collect your email address. If you email us, we collect your email address and whatever you choose to tell us. When we open orders, we will also collect the details needed to fulfill them, such as your name, shipping address, phone number, and order history. We do not see or store your full payment card number; payments are handled by our payment processor.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers collect your IP address, an approximate location derived from it (country), browser and device type, the pages you view, the page that referred you, and how you interact with the Site. We use cookies and similar technologies (such as pixels) to do this.
How we use it
- To add you to the waitlist and send you launch and product emails you asked for.
- To process and ship orders and handle support, once orders open.
- To understand which content and pages work, and to improve the Site.
- To measure and run our advertising, including showing MAWL ads to people who visited the Site or joined the waitlist.
- To prevent fraud and abuse, and to comply with the law.
We do not sell your email address or personal information for money.
Cookies, pixels, and advertising
We use the following tools on the Site:
- Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms, Inc.) to measure ad performance and build audiences, so we can show MAWL ads on Facebook and Instagram to people who visited the Site.
- Google Analytics to understand Site traffic and, later, to measure Google advertising. It uses cookies to recognize repeat visits.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics for privacy-oriented traffic measurement.
These providers may collect information such as your IP address, device identifiers, and the pages you view, and may use it under their own privacy policies. Sharing information with advertising partners in this way may count as "sharing" for targeted advertising under some state privacy laws.
Your choices: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, use a browser or extension that blocks trackers, turn off personalized ads in your Meta ad preferences, use Google's Analytics opt-out add-on, or opt out of many interest-based ads at optout.aboutads.info. You can also email us (below) and we will honor an opt-out request.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers who help us run the business, and only as needed for their service:
- Website hosting and form handling (Netlify)
- Email and SMS marketing (our email service provider)
- Online store, payment processing, and subscriptions, once orders open
- Shipping carriers, once orders open
- Analytics and advertising partners listed above
- Email and productivity tools we use to run the company (Google Workspace)
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of the business.
Email and text messages
If you join the waitlist, we will email you about MAWL's launch and products. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also reply or write to us to be removed. If we later offer text messages, we will ask for your separate consent first, and you will be able to reply STOP to opt out. We will still send order and account messages to customers who have ordered.
How long we keep it
We keep waitlist information until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. We keep order and tax records for as long as the law requires. Analytics data is kept according to each provider's retention settings.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and reputable providers. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example California, Washington, Colorado, Virginia, and other states with privacy laws), you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to access or get a copy of it, to correct it, to delete it, to opt out of targeted advertising and the sale or sharing of your information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To use any of these rights, email us at the address below. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we will respond within the time the law requires. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our response, and you may also contact your state attorney general.
We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 18.
Children
The Site and our products are intended for adults. Our products contain caffeine and are not for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13, and if we learn that we have, we will delete it.
Visitors outside the United States
We operate from the United States, and information we collect is processed and stored here. If you visit from another country, you understand that your information will be transferred to and handled in the United States, which may have different data protection laws than your country.
Links to other sites
The Site links to third-party sites such as Instagram and TikTok. We do not control them and are not responsible for their privacy practices. Read their policies before sharing information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our business and the law change. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top. If a change is significant, we will give additional notice, such as an email to the waitlist.
